Privacy Policy
This policy explains how VibeHost handles account data, deployment artifacts, operational data, and data used by the VibeHost Chrome extension.
What we collect
- Account: email, name (from Google if you sign in with Google), and a hashed password if you use email+password.
- Deploy artifacts: the files you upload to be served at your app's URL.
- Chrome extension website content: when you explicitly click a VibeHost deploy action, the extension reads the current AI canvas, artifact, editor output, or current page snapshot from supported sites so it can package that content for deployment.
- Chrome extension activity state: the extension stores the selected team, conversation or page identifiers, app mappings, last deployment time, and last deployment URL in
chrome.storage.localso repeat deploys update the same app. - Operational logs: access logs with IP, request path, and timestamps for abuse prevention and billing; container logs for debugging.
How we use it
Only to run the service — host your sites, enforce quotas, detect abuse, and contact you about your account. We don't sell your data. We don't send marketing email you didn't opt into.
Chrome extension
The VibeHost Chrome extension supports Gemini, Google AI Studio, ChatGPT, Claude, v0.dev, and current-page capture. It only reads page content after you install the extension and use a VibeHost action on a supported page or from the extension popup. It sends the captured HTML or source files to api.vibehost.com to create or update a static deployment.
VibeHost uses your authenticated VibeHost credentials when the extension calls api.vibehost.com to identify your account and authorize the requested deployment. The extension stores local state inchrome.storage.local, including selected team and conversation-to-app mappings. It does not sell this data or use it for advertising.
Third parties
- Google OAuth: only if you choose Google sign-in. We receive your email, name, and Google user id.
- Cloudflare: DNS, TLS, and static site delivery for the apps domain. User-uploaded deployment files, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other assets, are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage and served via Cloudflare Workers.
- Google Cloud: Kubernetes-based compute infrastructure for the VibeHost control plane, including the API, dashboard, database, and cache.
- AI platforms: Gemini, Google AI Studio, ChatGPT, Claude, and v0.dev are supported source sites for the extension. VibeHost is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Vercel.
